Für uns, wie für viele andere Kulturhauptstädte Europas gelten die Fragen: Sind wir ein touristischer Ort? Nun, wir werden einer, sagen sie. Was macht das mit uns? Wie können wir wissen, was eine Kulturhauptstadt Europas für diese Entwicklung benötigt, und wo finden wir die Daten, die uns leiten, unterstützen und zu besseren Entscheidungen verhelfen?

Das sind die Kernfragen, auf die CulTourData Antworten gefunden hat. Wir wollen dieErgebnisse mit Ihnen diskutieren.

Der Kontext des Austauschs liegt auf der Weiterentwicklung touristischer Geschäftsmodelle und Angebote, gerade im Umfeld von Kulturhauptstädten Europas. Wir erwarten dazu Gäste aus den Partnerländern des Projekts, Italien, Niederlande, Spanien, Portugal und Slowakei sowie der ENAT aus Belgien, dazu Gäste aus aktuellen und künftigen Kulturhauptstädten aus Ungarn, Slowenien, Griechenland sowie Polen und weitere mehr.

We welcome you to an industrial and working-class city with diverse cultural roots and a history full of disruptions, boom times, defeats and never-ending hope.

For us, as for many other European Capitals of Culture, the questions apply: Are we a tourist destination? Well, we are becoming one, they say. What does that do to us? How can we know what a European Capital of Culture needs for this development and where can we find the data to guide us, support us and help us make better decisions?

These are the key questions to which CulTourData has found answers. And we want to discuss these results with you.

The context of the exchange is the further development of tourism business models and offers, especially in the context of European Capitals of Culture. We are expecting guests from the partner countries of the project, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Slovakia as well as ENAT from Belgium, plus guests from current and future Capitals of Culture from Hungary, Slovenia, Greece and Poland and many more.
